Proposed Marcellus drilling study gets support of 2 Pa. counties

Officials from Bradford and Lycoming counties in Pennsylvania support efforts to request $250,000 from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development to assess the potential impact of Marcellus Shale drilling on water wells in their areas. The study would be conducted with the assistance of the U.S. Geological Survey.
