Businesses are showing a preference for Twitter over Facebook for gathering real-time social media content, according to a study from startup Livefyre. Of businesses that curate social content, 93% do so from Twitter while 89% do so from Facebook. More than 8 in 10 businesses have boosted user engagement by integrating social content on their websites, with more than half reporting an increase in website traffic, the study said.
