NBC buys documentary

NBC has bought a two-hour documentary on capital punishment and plans to air the film in its entirety, an unusual move considering that the network has a thriving news division. The film, "Deadline," was purchased at the request of NBC Universal chief Robert Wright, who reportedly loved it and thought it would be great for NBC.
