Utah releases hospital satisfaction report

The Utah Department of Health's 2009 Hospital Consumer Satisfaction Report found 73% of patients responding to a survey would recommend their hospital. The report, which covered patient satisfaction at 34 hospitals, showed Utah hospitals overall scored above the national average on 7 of 10 measures but fell short in communication with nurses, room cleanliness and explaining medication to patients.
