Qantas might replace Boeing 717s with Bombardier CSeries planes

Qantas is considering Bombardier's CSeries aircraft as a replacement for Boeing 717s in its QantasLink fleet. The move would make sense given that most of the fleet consists of Bombardier aircraft. "We think the CSeries looks like a great aircraft," said Qantas CEO Alan Joyce. "It goes up into the 160-seat range, it's got new engine technology and the seat costs on it are very attractive."
