Chinese baby milk demand boosts Danone results

Sales at Danone in the second quarter rose 6.7%, helped in part by strong demand in China for baby milk, and revenue growth of 6.5% bested analysts' expectations. The company faces challenges shared by competitors, all of whom have cut prices in China, where price-fixing investigations into foreign infant formula makers have been launched.
