Conde Nast is moving past the world of magazine racks directly to branded TV content through deals with Discovery Communications and the Ovation cable network. Discovery will create a crime TV series, "Vanity Fair Confidential," with episodes based on Vanity Fair articles, while Ovation plans "The Fashion Fund," a design-contest show sponsored by Vogue magazine. Ovation picked up the show after its first two seasons aired on Hulu and Vogue.com.
