Experts see rising market for contract hacking

The British government is taking aim at individuals and private companies that hire computer hackers to do their dirty work as part of ongoing investigations by Scotland Yard and the U.K.'s Serious Organised Crime Agency. Investigators say they have identified some 300 organizations, including law firms, drug companies, banks, insurers and media firms, that are fueling a nascent commercial hacking industry by hiring cybercriminals to steal personal data.
