Natural gas helps UPS slash fuel costs

UPS expects to bring its fuel costs down 40% by using natural gas to power its long-haul semi-tractor trailer fleet. Alt-fuel UPS vehicles will travel 1 billion miles by 2017, says CSO Scott Wicker. "It's really the vehicles that are on the freeways that burn the most fuel," Wicker said. "Right now natural gas is the big game changer."
