Pa. hospital creates community wellness plan

Lewistown Hospital in Pennsylvania created a "Community Health Needs Assessment Implementation Strategy," based on a community health assessment, that focuses on access to health care and developing better resources for healthy lifestyles. The hospital will offer public education on insurance options and initiatives to reduce smoking and encourage weight loss, while staff will talk with patients about available resources for making lifestyle changes.
