Primary care doctors may see bulk of TBI patients, experts say

The CDC says traumatic brain injuries, including concussions that may come from sports injuries, are a serious public health problem. Neurologist Brent Masel said primary care physicians can expect to shoulder a lot of the burden of identifying and caring for these patients because there are too few brain-injury specialists.
