Research scant on herbal tea health benefits

Black and green tea contain antioxidants that can combat chronic illnesses as well as theanine, which is linked to improvements in attention and memory. However, little research has been conducted on the health benefits of herbal teas, though Tufts researcher Diane McKay notes, "There are few downsides to drinking tea."
