Survey: Busy clinicians want product info via e-mail or direct mail

Doctors may be cooling to visits from sales representatives, but they still want to receive educational information regarding drugs and medical devices, a HealthLink Dimensions survey found. Doctors and nurse practitioners said they would prefer to receive information on continuing medical education, disease states and patient education through e-mail or direct mail so they can review it on their own schedules, according to the survey.
