U.K. auditor general questions Defense Ministry's accounting

The auditor general of the U.K.'s National Audit Office, Amyas Morse, issued a qualified audit opinion on the Ministry of Defense's 2012-2013 accounts for failure to comply with the treatment of leases required under International Financial Reporting Standards. Morse also took issue with the ministry's treatment of impairment charges connected with German training facilities.
