Acting on a tip from British authorities, federal agents at North Carolina's Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Sunday discovered 16 disassembled pistols in the cargo hold of a Delta Air Lines flight. The owner of the bag, Steven Neal Greenoe, was detained as a flight risk after investigators discovered he had purchased more than 60 guns in North Carolina and then smuggled some of them to England on commercial airline flights. TSA officials at RDU said they had questioned Greenoe in May after discovering disassembled guns in his luggage. Greenoe had claimed to be a salesman returning from a gun show and was allowed to proceed to his flight.
