New hospital at Ohio medical campus provides private rooms

When it opens next year, a new cancer and critical care hospital on Ohio State University's medical campus will have hundreds of private rooms, which officials say will trigger renovations at older hospital buildings to provide only single-patient rooms. Vice president Dr. David Schuller said the main purpose of the switch to private rooms is to reduce the risk of patient infections.
