PBS documentary uncovers problems at assisted living facilities

Family members making care decisions for loved ones may not delve deeply enough into how assisted living facilities are run or the medical care they provide, according to the "Frontline" documentary "Life and Death in Assisted Living." The program looks at some incidents where residents with dementia suffered harm because of a lack of supervision or medical care.
