Surgery boosts QoL scores in pediatric spondylolisthesis patients

Surgical intervention yielded substantial improvements in health-related quality of life scores among pediatric patients with high-grade spondylolisthesis, according to a Canadian study published in The Spine Journal. Surgical patients with low baseline HRQOL scores benefited the most from the procedure, researchers said.
