Lawmakers hear testimony on Delta-Northwest merger

Union officials representing flight attendants, reservation agents and ramp workers at Northwest Airlines testified at a hearing before a House subcommittee that they are concerned about employees' pension benefits should the Delta-Northwest merger go ahead. Delta Vice President Robert Knight said a merger would create a stronger company that "will be better able to fund these pensions going forward."
