Community health centers lower health costs for states

A study of community health centers in Indiana found that for each dollar spent on patient care at a CHC, $1.90 was saved in overall spending, when compared with other primary care settings. Researchers said if the results are applied nationally it could save states millions of dollars and increase health care access for vulnerable populations.
