Airline pilots offered their take on whether personal electronic devices can cause interference on flights. "Our wireless devices today have a very wide spectrum of frequency and power ranges causing a near impossibility for aircraft manufacturers to filter and shield such devices from interfering with the sensitive electronic components on board today’s aircraft," writes a pilot.
