Henkel wants EC documents to fight French-issued fine

In a move to block a $122 million price-fixing fine imposed by the French Competition Authority, Henkel has requested that the European Union's highest court reconsider letting it use European Commission documents from a laundry detergent cartel investigation. Henkel says the documents should show that the conduct in the EC's probe is "the same or ... at the very least closely related to the facts prosecuted in the French proceedings."
