Qantas ups fares as value of Aussie dollar weakens

Starting 14 Aug., Qantas fliers can expect higher fees on international and domestic flights. The move comes because the lower value of the Australian dollar drove up jet fuel costs. Because of past fuel cost hikes and the carrier's inability to fully recover from them, it says more increases could be on the way.
