Cincinnati seeks federal funding for bridge project

A five-year highway bill that includes $45.6 million to replace or repair Cincinnati's Brent Spence Bridge has already earned President George W. Bush's approval and is working its way through Congress. Both Kentucky and Ohio congressmen have helped the attempt to secure necessary funding, which will be used for "design, acquisition of rights-of-way, utility relocation, and setting the stage for its final construction," one congressman said.
