Exercise reduces heart risk in diabetic children

Results from a new study indicate that children with Type I diabetes who exercise regularly have lower lipoprotein levels and diastolic blood pressure, which reduces their risk for heart disease. Authors of the study note that the findings point to the need for education on exercise as a prevention method for kids with Type I diabetes.
