Stihl creates ethanol-free fuel for lawn equipment

Outdoor equipment manufacturer Stihl has developed a gasoline mixture called Motomix that could be used for lawn gear because it does not contain ethanol. The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute opposed federal approval of E15 fuel for newer vehicles, saying the gasoline blend could be mistakenly used for lawn equipment. Motomix can help resolve those issues, said product manager Kent Hall.
