"Digging Deep" helps sick children write about their illnesses

Cancer survivor Sheri Brisson co-wrote "Digging Deep," a book that guides seriously ill children in writing exercises intended to help them convey how they feel about being sick and encourage the development of coping skills. Brisson says the book is not a tale with characters but the child's own story about their illness, and a tribute to their courage.
