Partisan battle likely over space funding

A bill that gives NASA between $18.1 billion and $18.8 billion for each of the next three years soon moves to the full Senate, where it's expected to pass. But the funding measure faces an uncertain future, because it provides the space agency with much more money than does an already-passed House version. The battle is likely to be drawn along partisan lines, with Democrats pushing for more funding and the GOP arguing for less.
