Poll: Many teens are exposed to tobacco ads in stores

Data from the 2011 National Youth Tobacco Survey showed about 81% of middle-school students and 87% of high-school students were exposed to tobacco advertisements in stores. In addition, 22% of middle-school students and 24% of high-school students said they never smoked but were open to trying cigarettes. The findings were published in the Journal of Adolescent Health.
