CEO of Danish jeweler Pandora resigns on dismal outlook

Mikkel Vendelin Olesen, chief executive officer at Pandora, a Danish jewelry maker, resigned after the company slashed its outlook. The company's market value plunged on the news, which Allan Leighton, chairman of the Pandora board, blamed on Olesen. "The CEO is accountable for what happened and that is why he resigns," Leighton said.
