Frontier taps a former utility executive to head W.Va. post

Frontier has named a retired power company executive to lead its West Virginia operations, its largest after the completion of the telecom's purchase of Verizon Communications' wireline assets in 14 states July 1. Dana Waldo, who headed Appalachian Power, will lead the telecom through its transition as it introduces broadband services to rural areas.
