LG steps up 3DTV rivalry with "flicker-free" LW980S

LG has debuted a 3D television, available in 47- and 55-inch models, that the company says includes "flicker-free" technology to eliminate the headaches and dizziness often associated with 3DTVs. The LW980S, which is seen by industry watchers as a challenge to rival Samsung, features a Nano Full LED panel, a "magic motion" remote, passive glasses that never need charging and conversion technology that makes 2D programs appear to be in 3D.
