Sprout signs up for Rentrak set-top box data

Preschooler network Sprout has signed on to receive Rentrak's TV Essentials line of services, giving the unrated network access to viewing data culled from almost 4 million set-top boxes in 48 markets. "With this new technology, Sprout can take a leadership role as a currently unrated network and leverage census-level, second-by-second analysis of viewership data," said Rentrak's Carol Hinnant.
