Remember the good old days? Maybe they never happened

Many of your happiest memories may never have happened, one study suggests. Scientists found that about 20% of people have vivid memories of events that didn't actually occur; some of those surveyed said they had bogus recollections of seeing live dinosaurs, playing professional hockey and talking with a large stuffed rabbit. Such memories are easy for people to fact-check, scientists say, but the odds are that many of our more mundane memories are also fictional.
