Turner posts $1 billion in Q2 ad sales

Turner's TBS, TNT and truTV combined for $1 billion in ad sales during the second quarter, a 14% increase over the $876 million the three raked in during the comparable period of 2009. Additionally, Time Warner Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bewkes said ad avails in Conan O'Brien's upcoming late-night talk show on TBS are fetching prices that are "on parity with broadcast."
