USDA: U.S. corn export sales dropped 23% this week

Net sales of U.S. corn exports amounted to 778,500 metric tons, down 23% from the previous week and 19% below the average for the past four weeks, according to the Department of Agriculture. The biggest buyers were Japan at 231,000 metric tons, followed by Mexico and Saudi Arabia, at 150,500 metric tons and 71,500 metric tons, respectively.
