2 face charges stemming from job at SUNY Research Foundation

John O'Connor, former chief of the Research Foundation for the State University of New York, is accused of improperly certifying work by the daughter of a former state Senate majority leader, who allegedly was handling political tasks instead. Damages could exceed $1 million for O'Connor and Susan Bruno. The two face charges related to 47 or more monthly reports made from 2005 through 2008.
