Bottle features can help protect high-end wine from counterfeiting

Companies that offer services that protect products such as designer bags and gadgets from counterfeiting are beginning to offer similar services to producers of high-end wines. Companies including Advanced Track and Trace, eProvenance and ProofTag provide wine producers with the option of incorporating protective bottle features such as authentication technology and track-and-trace capability to ensure their products aren't being copied.
