Google introduces native smartphone tracking program for Android

Google announced the release of Android Device Manager to help smartphone users locate lost phones or remotely wipe data. The program, accessible through a Google account, allows users to track the device's location on a map in real time or increase the volume of the ring tone to make the phone easier to find. The program will be available later this month.
