Gender bias is still an issue in the workplace, but it's not the only factor preventing women from reaching their goals, writes Margie Warrell. Women can overcome the self-imposed "glass cage" that sometimes inhibits their progress by offering their opinions, advocating for what they want and carving their own path through the world, she writes. "[Y]ou have to see yourself as a leader before anyone else will, and you have to be willing to build your own unique brand of leadership, even if at times that has you standing apart from the crowd," she writes.
