Cleveland State's green roof nearly complete

After two years of planning work, the green roof of Cleveland State University's Recreation Center is nearly completed. The green roof cost $250,000 to install and spans 7,000 square feet. The greenery will extend the life of the building's roof by up to 40 years because it will be protected from weathering. It will also lower the cost of heating and cooling the building.
