Economy still pinching Internet ad spending

For the second straight quarter, online ad spending dipped -- 7% domestically and 5% worldwide, per data released by IDC. The greatest dip was in classifieds, with the smallest slide seen in display ads. The lion's share of ad publishers reported losses in the double-digit range in the second quarter. However, Google was a bright spot, posting slight growth for the quarter.
