Global warming harming Arctic Ocean's natural pollution defenses

Melting ice and changes in wind patterns stemming from global warming are adversely affecting the Arctic Ocean's ability to disperse pollution, scientists say. Researchers predict the Transpolar Drift, one of the Arctic's most powerful currents, will disappear by 2070 unless immediate action is taken to slow the pace of climate change.
