IPad rollout in L.A. starts with teacher training

All students in the Los Angeles Unified School District are expected to begin using iPads this fall, and their teachers are in training now to learn how to use the devices in the classroom. Training, which began this week at six sites, spans topics such as how to turn on the devices to how to use them as musical instruments.
