Web-based diabetes-info program may improve patient care

A Partners in Health survey found that patients who engaged in the Technologies in Diabetes Education program had better understanding and attitudes toward the disease and had significant decreases in HbA1c than those who received standard diabetes education. The findings suggest that Web-based diabetes education programs such as TIDE may help improve care in patients with diabetes, experts said.
