Craft sodas catch on with restaurant patrons

Restaurant guests seeking healthier beverage options are turning to craft sodas billed as "natural" and "artisan," a trend many experts say is a non-alcoholic outgrowth of the craft beer trend. "We're also seeing consistent demand for offerings that are local, small-batch, rare. Custom-soda programs are helping restaurants address these niche demands, and can be a real differentiator for millennial buyers, who have endless choices," said Datassential director Maeve Webster.
