Why CEOs shouldn't be afraid to seek coaching

Too many CEOs see leadership coaching as "remedial," rather than something more akin to the training undergone by an elite sportsman, says Stephen Miles, CEO of the Miles Group. Instead of trying to go it alone, leaders should embrace coaching as a way to develop their skills in critical areas such as conflict resolution and team-building, Miles says. CEOs should see coaching as a means of improving their already solid abilities, he says.
