Study: Lower-body fat may offer heart benefits

Fat in the hips, thighs and buttocks may help reduce cardiovascular disease risk factors, such as high triglycerides and raised blood pressure, several studies suggest. The differences between lower-body fat and upper-body fat may become more pronounced with age, one researcher suggests.
