FDA panel finds GE's imaging agent Datscan beneficial

An FDA panel said GE Healthcare's Datscan, an imaging agent that helps identify neurological disorders, is safe to use in patients. Panel members said they would have preferred to have more information on whether the agent can pinpoint Parkinson's disease rather than only helping doctors localize it. The company plans to review data from patients who have used the product, an official said.
