More of England's students qualify for free school meals

The number of pupils in England who qualify for free school meals has risen for the first time in three years, and officials attribute the spike to the country's recession. The number of pupils who could receive the meals rose this year by 21,410, with 15.9% of primary-school students and 13.4% of secondary-school students qualifying.
